·      Ability to shadow real time classes with a qualified Instructor in a working studio

Fitness with Shirley is proud to be the only Certifying studio for Physical Mind Institute (PMI) New York in Ireland along with our partner studio www.arleneryanpilates.ie - offering Teacher Training Certifications for Comprehensive Pilates which begins with mathwork and then the apparatus

Our PMI founder Joan Breitbart has like Joseph Pilates invented many additional pieces of apparatus over the years which we will also bring to our Teacher Training course

‍ ‍Requirements

Applicants need a keen interest in Pilates and a good level of flexibility

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

Students MUST attend ALL course tuition time . If a student misses course time this must be made up pro rata with the instructor outside of normal course hours – at the expense of the student  

Course tuition runs for 6 days – All Weekends over specified dates which includes practical practice day in studio before exams

Under NO circumstances can the course be transferred

Prior Mat Plates experience is preferred but not required

Students MUST complete continuing education after qualification

80% pass mark is required to pass exams

Full Physical Mind International Accreditation and Certification once ALL exams are passed

 Payment in Full               €3600.00   ( Before course commencement )

OR

 3 monthly payments of        €1250.00 each month  –  totalling €3750.00

Full tuition fees to be paid in Full before 2nd month of course tuitions begins or trainee cannot progress to next lessons or exams
